July Top Ten

Now that its August I can recap my favorite July cosmetics for you. These are the things I can’t live without -okay I could but it would suck. Also, my blog is a month old!

1. Jack Black Intense Therapy Natural Mint Lip Balm: I just got this for my birthday on the 13th but I’ve used it daily since. Its a nice conditioning lip balm -not too thick and it sinks into my lips to moisturize without being too heavy. I’ll definitely be going back to Sephora to get the other flavors.($7.50 for .25 oz)

2. Philosophy Eternal Grace Eau de Toilette: I’ve never really been a big perfume wearer but this smells so nice and clean with very light floral and citrus undertones. It smells really good and lasts a long time.  ($15 for .5 oz spray or $40 for 2oz spray)

3. Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original: I was skeptical at first but this one really helps my eyeshadow stay on for hours without creasing ($19 for .37oz)

4. Kat von D True Romance Eyeshadow Palette in True Love:  This is my favorite palette and I have way more eyeshadow than the average person. My husband thinks I could open a shop but what does he know, he’s a guy! I need options. Anyway, there are eight awesome colors in this one both neutral brown and purples. I’ve used them all. Total win! ($24 8x .05 eyeshadow palette)

5. Hard Candy Ginormous Lash Mascara in Mudslide: A dark brown mascara that adds volume and length to my lashes. It doesn’t clump or flake. I have it in pretty much all the available colors and its never let me down ($6)

6. EcoTools Make Up Brush Set: I have the set that includes Blush, Eye-shading, Eyeliner, Lash & Brow Groomer, Concealer and case. They’re very soft and made from bamboo and recycled materials. They’re really good brushes and I haven’t seen any shedding yet. I use them daily and clean them with ELF brush cleaner frequently. ($17.99 for the set)

7. Yes to Tomatoes Totally Tranquil Facial Hydrating Lotion: I’ve been wanting to try this brand of products since they’re more all natural but they’re always so expensive and I didn’t want to lay out the cash for something I *may* like. I found this at Ross for $3!  It compliments my Philosophy face wash so well and I don’t feel like my skin is dry all day. Its a little thicker than I’m used to but it sinks into my skin quickly and I don’t notice after a few minutes. ($15 for 1.7oz- unless you find it at Ross for only $3)

8. ASP Crystal Nail File: I bought this on a whim at Sallys and am so glad I did. Its pink and had two sides: a rough and smooth side. I use it pretty much daily and although its shaped oddly it doesn’t hinder using it at all. I went back and bought another one to keep in my purse. ($3.99 )

9. Nail Life Nail Revitalizer Treatment: My nails have a tendency to peel if not kept in check. I bought this on the suggestion of a Sally’s associate and use it whenever I see my nails start to get out of line. Its a week-long treatment but you can wear polish over it. ($7.99 for 1.19 oz)

10. Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream: An awesome product! It smells like lemon and works like a champ. I rub some into my cuticles nightly and also have one in my purse to use on the go. ($6 for .6oz)

So these are my July favorites, what are yours?

***I’m not affiliated with any of these companies, I just like these products***
